Unusia Jajaki Kerja Sama dengan MUI DKI Jakarta Program Double Degree Pendidikan Kader Ulama

Jakarta – Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia (Unusia) paid a goodwill visit to explore a potential partnership with the Jakarta Chapter of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI DKI Jakarta) at their secretariat within the Jakarta Islamic Centre (JIC) complex on Monday (August 3).

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Chairman of MUI DKI Jakarta (2023–2028 term), K.H. Muhammad Faiz, along with other MUI board members. Representing Unusia were the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relations, Fariz Alnizar, accompanied by faculty members from the Master’s and Doctoral programs in the History of Islamic Civilization.

During the meeting, Unusia proposed a partnership scheme featuring a double-degree program integrated with the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) system for coursework and final projects. Under this scheme, students would undertake one year of study in the Ulama Cadre Training (PKU) program and one year at Unusia. Upon completion, students would receive both the PKU certificate and a Master of Humanities (M.Hum.) degree.

The discussion was warm and enthusiastic, covering various collaborative opportunities for the development of ulama cadre education. This meeting marks an initial step toward strengthening synergy between Unusia and MUI DKI Jakarta in delivering educational programs that are relevant and adaptive, while contributing to the enhancement of human resource quality and the development of ulama cadres in Indonesia.
