Jakarta – The Sharia Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia University (Unusia), underwent an accreditation field assessment by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA) from August 5–8, 2026. This activity was part of the accreditation process to evaluate the alignment between the implementation of the "Tridharma" (Three Pillars of Higher Education)—education, research, and community service—and the documentation previously submitted by the study program.

The field assessment was opened by the Rector of Unusia, Dr. Fariz Alnizar. In his remarks, he stated that the field assessment offered an opportunity for the study program to receive an objective evaluation as part of efforts to enhance the quality of education.

"We view accreditation not merely as an attempt to obtain a rating, but as an instrument to ensure the continuous improvement of governance, academic processes, research, community service, and student services."

The field assessment involved two LAMEMBA assessors: Dr. Isnaini Harahap, M.Ag., and Prof. Dr. Maftukhatusolikhah, M.Ag. The assessor team explained that the assessment was conducted through the verification of document completeness, data validation, and cross-referencing accreditation documents with the study program's actual operations.

Over the course of the two-day event, the assessor team examined supporting documents, held discussions with university leadership, and conducted interviews with bureau heads, administrative staff, lecturers, students, alumni, and graduate employers. The assessment process also included an inspection of learning facilities and infrastructure within the Faculty of Economics and Business, as well as the drafting and signing of the field assessment official report.

Through this field assessment, the Unusia Sharia Economics Study Program aims to further strengthen academic governance, improve the quality of educational delivery, and achieve the best possible accreditation result.
