Jakarta — The Sharia Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Unusia has achieved the "Superior" (Unggul) accreditation rating from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA). This rating was established via LAMEMBA Decree Number 276/DE/A.5/LAMEMBA-U/IX/2026 and is valid for the period of September 4, 2026, to September 4, 2031.

This "Superior" rating marks a significant milestone for the Sharia Economics Study Program and reflects Unusia’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of higher education delivery. Previously, the program underwent a Field Assessment (AL) by LAMEMBA from August 5–8, 2026. This process was part of an evaluation covering various aspects of the program's operations, including governance, resources, the learning process, and the implementation of the "Tridharma" (Three Pillars) of higher education.

Muhammad Aras Prabowo, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Unusia, expressed his appreciation to all parties who contributed to the accreditation process. He noted that this achievement was the result of collective effort and sustained quality improvement initiatives within FEB Unusia.

"For FEB Unusia, the 'Superior' rating is not a finish line, but rather a new standard for moving forward. This achievement serves as momentum to continue strengthening academic quality, research, innovation, networking, and the quality of our graduates," said Aras.

In line with this achievement, FEB Unusia will continue to strengthen faculty development by enhancing academic quality and curricula, research and publications, innovation, and the digitalization of learning and governance, as well as expanding networks and collaborations. Strengthening entrepreneurship and fostering graduates who possess integrity, professionalism, adaptability, and leadership qualities are also key components of FEB’s future development strategy.

Unusia Rector Fariz Alnizar views this achievement as holding broader significance for the institution. According to him, the "Superior" accreditation status is not merely a recognition of the Sharia Economics Study Program's quality; it also represents a responsibility for Unusia to ensure the program's continued, sustainable development.

"This 'Superior' accreditation for the Sharia Economics Study Program is a source of pride and the result of the hard work of the entire academic community. It is not just an acknowledgment of quality, but also a mandate to keep innovating, enhancing the quality of instruction, and making a tangible contribution to the development of the sharia economy in Indonesia," said Fariz.

With this "Superior" accreditation, Unusia’s Sharia Economics Study Program gains a new foundation to further strengthen academic quality and expand its contribution to the development of the sharia economy. This achievement also aligns with Unusia’s broader efforts to provide higher education that is relevant and competitive, while delivering a tangible impact on society.
