Jakarta — The Psychology Study Program at Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia University (Unusia) held a meeting and sharing session with the National Psychology Scientific Consortium (KPIN) on August 13. Held in the BPP Meeting Room on the second floor of Unusia, the event was attended by Dr. Eko A. Meinarno, S.Psi., M.Si.—a co-founder of KPIN—alongside Unusia Psychology Program administrators, including the Head of the Psychology Laboratory and psychology faculty members.

The meeting served as a platform to strengthen the direction of collaboration between the Unusia Psychology Program and KPIN. Several strategic issues were discussed, including refining study program accreditation criteria to align with national quality standards and initiating inter-university research collaborations under the auspices of KPIN. This collaboration is expected to help enhance teaching quality and scientific publications, as well as foster capacity building for both lecturers and students.

Following the meeting, several follow-up plans were discussed, including guidance on accreditation preparation, mapping out joint research agendas, and organizing periodic scientific collaboration programs. The Unusia Psychology Program also emphasized the importance of strengthening research methodology to ensure that research outputs yield tangible impacts and remain responsive to the evolving psychological needs in Indonesia.

Moving forward, the partnership between the Unusia Psychology Program and KPIN will be pursued through various forms of collaboration. These efforts are part of Unusia’s initiative to build a robust academic ecosystem while expanding its scholarly network at the national level.
