Jakarta – Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia (Unusia) contributed to the management review of the Halal Inspection Agency (LPH) at the Center for Testing of Telecommunication, Digital, and Electronic Equipment (BBP3KP), held in the Surimi Meeting Room at BBP3KP, Jakarta, on August 5.
Hayaturrohman, M.Si., from Unusia attended the event as a resource person alongside all members of the BBP3KP LPH. The event was opened by the Acting Head of BBP3KP, who also serves as the Head of the BBP3KP LPH. Hayaturrohman’s participation as a resource person from Unusia was part of the management review process and served as a forum for sharing knowledge and providing input on strengthening the LPH's governance.
This management review aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the BBP3KP LPH Management System implementation, the agency's operational needs, and the progress toward achieving 2026 quality objectives. The event also facilitated the setting of quality objectives for the BBP3KP LPH for the year 2027.
Unusia’s involvement through Hayaturrohman demonstrates the role of higher education institutions in supporting the strengthening of governance and management systems for halal inspection agencies. The presence of the resource person from Unusia also provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and offer input aimed at improving the quality of halal inspection operations.
As a follow-up, the BBP3KP LPH will act upon the results of the management review and prepare to expand the scope of its halal inspections to include cosmetics, distribution, storage, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods.
